Beautiful Montañita Heights is a collection of properties located on the verdant hillside overlooking the world-renown surfing mecca of Montañita on Ecuador’s Pacific Coast, and it is here that you will find this 1,615-square-foot gem available for rent.  Pass palm trees and lush tropical vegetation along the path to the front door of this charming two-story house.  The main living area is open and bright, filled with natural light from the large windows and sliding glass doors that lead from the living room space out to the covered patio area.  Enjoy a cool ocean breeze from the table and chairs there, or relax on the sofa inside and check out what is on television.  The kitchen is modern and efficient with built-in oven and countertop cooktop. There are upper and lower cabinets and sleek granite countertops that wrap around, creating a peninsula and breakfast bar.

Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a queen size bed and sliding glass doors that lead out to a covered balcony.  This is sure to be a favorite spot first thing in the morning, or before retiring for the night!  The master bedroom also has a large built-in closet for plenty of storage, and a well-appointed en-suite master bathroom.  The second bedroom is found next to the master, at the top of the stairs.  It sleeps four, furnished with a bunk bed with a double bed at the bottom and a twin bed at the top, as well as, a separate twin bed.  The second bedroom enjoys its own en-suite bathroom.  The third bedroom is located on the ground floor and sleeps four, with another bunk bed with double bed below and twin bed above, and a separate double bed in the room.  The third bathroom is conveniently located next to the bedroom and just off the main living area.

This cozy home is air conditioned, is fully furnished, has a television with Netflix, and includes water, trash collection, and parking.  Even though you may spend so much time enjoying this paradise you could forget your passwords, go ahead and remember them because internet is also included in the rental price.  You will want to share your fantastic vacation photos with friends and family stuck at home!   In addition to the first month’s rent, there is a $300 utility deposit to cover electricity bills.  If the bills are less, you will receive the balance.  

Montañita Heights has a lovely common area overlooking Montañita and the Pacific. In addition to the sparkling pool and jacuzzi, there is a covered space with BBQ area, and built-in seats facing the ocean perfect for watching the spectacular sunsets.  Tenants may use the pool Monday through Friday, but not on weekends without an appointment.  Be sure to use some of your time here to explore Montañita, which has a unique ambiance all its own.  Its streets are lined with restaurants with an array of international and local cuisines, and a variety of shops. At the end of the east-west streets is the world-famous Montañita Beach, where for a few dollars you can rent a beach chair and umbrella for the day and enjoy having your feet in the sand.
