If you are looking for the perfect spot to make memories with family and friends, you could not find a more perfect spot than this 3,552 square foot penthouse overlooking the sparkling blue Pacific.  Long stretches of sandy beaches, and tide pools among the rocks of San Lorenzo point beckon you to stroll along and comb the beach for seashells and sea glass, while watching native red crabs scurry toward the tide.  The private balcony penthouse terrace will be a gathering spot, to watch the fishing boats sail out in the mornings, to spot migrating whales during the day, and to “ooh” and “ahh” over spectacular sunsets in the evenings.  The tasteful interior imparts a sense of tranquility and class, as well as, coziness.  The intimate seating areas are as inviting as the view of the private terrace through the sliding glass doors in the main living area.  The living and dining rooms are set off from one another by a special stonework pillar, and yet are open to one another, maintaining a spacious feeling throughout.  In addition to the more formal living and dining rooms, there is a family room with a big screen television, comfy sectional sofa, and a small table for games or casual meals.  There is a bright and well-appointed guest bathroom off the family room.  I love the mirrors all over the room.  You can never have enough mirrors.  The private terrace is designed for entertaining and enjoyment.  Surrounded by a glass railing, and accented with potted palms and lush foliage, the views of the peninsula and ocean are unobstructed from this vantage point.  It is the perfect place to soak up the sun on one of the modern lounge chairs, catch a bit of shade from the umbrella protecting the glass-topped patio table, or relax in your private hot tub.  There is also a roll out canopy that will offer more shade if needed.  The kitchen is exceptionally spacious, with lots of granite counter tops, a peninsula, upper and lower kitchen cabinets, and two refrigerators!  A maid’s quarters with a bathroom, located just off the kitchen, rounds out the main living level.  After a day of beachcombing, or swimming, ascend the staircase to the upper level, with its four bedrooms...each with its own private bathroom. The views from this level are awesome!  The master bedroom has great views overlooking both the main level terrace and the Pacific.  It features a large walk-in closet and dressing area, as well as, a beautiful en-suite master bathroom.  Each of the other bedrooms have large windows, so the entire family can fall asleep to the beautiful nighttime views, and wake up to the sound of the breaking waves each morning!  There is also a laundry area with washer and dryer.  The amenities in this building are impressive.  There is a beachside pool, two hot tubs, and a poolside lounge area, with steps leading down to the beach, as well as, an outdoor shower to wash off the sand.  There is a covered social area with wet bar, a steam room, a sauna, a kiddie play area, and a tennis court.  All of this is available from April through November, for just $2,500 per month.  At the end of the day, the sand may brush off, the salt may wash away, and the tans may fade, but the memories will last forever!
